I had the privilege of performing for Brown Bodies, Bold Stories to support Daya and their programming. There were so many talented performers, truth-telling, and bold testimony. It was sometimes difficult to hear but also so important to witness survivors plainly speak about topics - without coded language and metaphor - that we don't speak about enough.
